Dominican University hosts potluck, acoustic jam March 16
RIVER FOREST IL - The Dominican University Performing Arts Center and Music & Potlucks will present “Potluck @The Priory” on Saturday, March 16 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Priory Campus Auditorium, 7200 W. Division Street.
The event supports the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry, Housing Forward and the Oak Park River Forest Community Foundation.
“This will be our eleventh event,” said Music & Potlucks co-director Stephanie Schrodt. “We want to continue to present programs that gather our community together, and at the same time provide some assistance to our neighbors in need. We’re absolutely thrilled to be partnering with the Dominican University Performing Arts Center.”

“Folks should bring along their instruments and be ready to sing along,” said Mark Dvorak of the Old Town School of Folk Music, who will lead the session. “We’ll begin with some familiar songs and try to get everyone involved.”
Admission is free and all ages are welcome. Bring a dish to share and listeners are especially welcome.
Donations of toiletries, fresh produce in good shape like whole fruits, oranges and apples as well as canned or boxed items will be accepted. High protein items are a plus. Donations of cash or check are also welcome.
The Priory Campus Auditorium is wheelchair accessible.
Dominican University and Music & Potlucks will present the second “Potluck @The Priory” on Saturday, March 16, and on Friday, May 10 a sing along tribute to Pete Seeger in Martin Hall.
