“Mark has been on the road for a lot of years it seems,” said house manager Michael Greenberg. "He’s a favorite in Chicago and a legend at the Old Town School. His song writing is incredible. We’re excited to be able to present him.”

“He’s the real deal,” said Bau Graves, Executive Director of Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music. ”Mark has made music his life and livelihood. He’s been a top faculty member at the school for more than twenty-five years. His performances are elegant, rich and powerful.”

Dvorak released his seventeenth CD, “Back Home,” in July. “It’s a compilation of the different kinds of songs I like to perform live,” said the singer, who recorded the project in his home studio, and played all the instruments. “I like being able to work in the comfort of my home studio. At home, I can work until I get a take I really like; something that has the energy and life of a live performance,” he said.

Wishbone North is Lakeview’s home for Southern reconstruction cooking, and presents live music each Thursday and Sunday in their adult listening room. For more information, contact Wishbone North at 773 549 2663 or visit online at www.wishbonenorth.com
