On Sunday, May 26 at 9:00 am, Mohrhusen will present an hour of gentle yoga. Since retiring from teaching kindergarten in 2016, Mohrhusen has presented yoga classes to people of all ages and abilities.

“I am so excited to visit the Woolpys again in their lovely home and yoga studio,” said Mohrhusen. “We’ll have an hour of gentle yoga with a combination of flowing seated and standing sequences and meditative breath work. A yoga session is a great compliment to Mark’s music.”

“Yoga is like music,” she said. “The rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind and the harmony of the soul."

Also on Sunday from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Dvorak will lead the Acoustic Community Jam & Sing Along. Players of acoustic instruments and singers are welcome to attend and join in. Beginners are especially welcome.

In 2012 Dvorak was named "Chicago's Troubadour" by WFMT 98.7 fm fine arts radio and is the recipient of FARM Lantern Bearer Award for his contribution to the field of folk music.  His songwriting has been called "wondrous," and "profound." His performance "an elegant balancing act of the traditional, the original and the powerful." The Chicago Tribune calls him "masterful," while SING OUT! magazine says, "Dvorak shines!”

The concert is open to the public and reservations are recommended. A $10 - $20 donation to the artist is suggested.
