Folk Legend Larry Penn returns to Ft. Atkinson

FT. ATKINSON WI - Cafe Carpe, 18 S. Water Street, Ft. Atkinson, presents an evening of folk and original song featuring legendary songwriter Larry Penn on Saturday, October 27 at 8:30 pm.

Penn, who hails from Milwaukee has written hundreds of songs in his long career. Among his best known songs are "I'm a Little Cookie" and "On My Grandma's Patchwork Quilt." He has also recorded a number of CDs about railroading and labor history.

Joining Penn on stage will be Midwest troubadour Mark Dvorak from Chicago, IL, and MIlwaukee's John Sieger. Dvorak has been touring nationally and release the acclaimed "Time Ain't Got Nothin' On Me," last year, his fourth CD on the Waterbug label. John Sieger performs with The Subcontinentals and  has recently written songs documenting the political struggles taking place in his native Wisconsin.
