With gas prices falling below $2.25 per gallon for the first time since 2008, there’s never been a better time to bring Mark Dvorak to your performance series, community event or house concert. 

In 2016, Mark will be all across Illinois and the Midwest. Tours are being planned for Michigan, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Tennesssee and Pennslyvania. Plans are also coming together for New England and possibly Colorado.

Solar panel benefit concert features folk legend Mark Dvorak and Rockford songwriter Emily Hurd

Chicago troubadour Mark Dvorak will headline a 10 act cast of northern Illinois musicians and performers who will gather for a concert to benefit Just Goods Fair Trade Marketplace in Rockford. The event will take place at Spring Creek United Church of Christ, 4500 Spring Road, on Sunday, November 8 from 3:00 pm - 6:15 pm. The concert is free and open to the public, but donations will be accepted. The Illinois Energy Council will match $2 for every $1 donated.

Riverside musician among performers at venue’s 45th anniversary celebration

DOWNERS GROVE IL - Two Way Street Coffee House in Downers Grove will mark its 45th anniversary with a daylong celebration Nov., 7.

From 2 pm to midnight, the music venue will spotlight a handful of musicians and bands that have made Two Way Street a go-to destination for folk, roots, bluegrass and Americana music.

Beginning with the afternoon session at 2 pm, more than 20 other Chicago-area music organizations and venues will join Two Way Street in many of the events in the 45th anniversary celebration.
