Chicago folk artist Dvorak returns to East Lansing for two shows August 26

EAST LANSING MI - Chicago’s "official troubadour" Mark Dvorak returns to East Lansing for two shows on Saturday, August 26.

Dvorak has been a regular performer at East Lansing’s Mid-Winter Singing Festival since its inception sixteen years ago. He has released seventeen albums to date and performed in thirty-eight states, and in Canada, Ireland and Finland. 

“Mark has been on the road for a lot of years it seems,” said Smitty Smith, Pump House Concerts director. "He’s a masterful musician and an essential figure on the folk music scene. We're thrilled to have Mark back in town.”

On Saturday, August 26 at 12:30 pm Dvorak will perform a free Acoustic Lunch concert at the Eli & Edythe Broad Art Museum on the campus of Michigan State University. The museum is located at 547 E. Circle Drive. For information visit www.broadmuseum.msu.edu

On August 26 at 7:00 pm Dvorak will perform at The Pump House, 368 Orchard Street.
